EFM 3 – Automatic Fare Pricing
On 13–14 June 2013, many facets of automatic fare pricing will be presented and discussed in keynote presentations and in a round-table discussion with Transport Minister Winfried Hermann and County Commissioner Detlef Piepenburg, Ingrid Kühnel, CEO, Kreisverkehr Schwäbisch Hall, and Sjef Janssen, CEO, VDV Kernapplikations GmbH. Gerhard Gross, CEO, Heilbronn Hohenloh Hall Local Transport Authority (HNV) will be reporting about their newly introduced (((eTicket, their strategic goals, and Hans-Andreas Hoffmann, Project Manager, will outline the implementation of interoperability and Ingrid Kühnel will present 10 years of experiences and current challenges of eTicketing in Schwäbisch Hall. Furthermore, the agenda also includes electronic ticketing in Switzerland, described in detail by Susanne Grün, Head of Sales Department, Swiss Association of Public Transport, VöV. The common background system for Baden-Württemberg will be presented by Norbert Kuhnle, Nahverkehrsgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg, and Thomas Hornig, CEO, highQ Computerlösungen. The changes brought about by eControl will be outlined and on the practical side, the Heilbronn Municipal Utilities will be providing busses with card readers and testing devices. Walter Noé, Manager Sales and EFM, will illustrate the results of the VDV Working Group eTariff. Reinhard Schulte, Head of Traffic Management, Stadtwerke Münster, will report on first experiences with the new PlusCard Münster. Sjef Janssen will start Fridays plenary session with the (((eTicket Germany NEWS and Michael Hegenbarth, Senior Director Standardisation, Bundesdruckerei, Berlin, will picture new developments in international Standardisation.
