Kontiki is a non-profit organisation with international members. Passengers, transport companies and associations, researchers, political authorities for public transport, industry representatives, the banking and credit sector, and consulting companies work together in order to promote electronic fare management systems based on wireless media. Kontiki is conceived as a product- and system-neutral platform for eTicketing and interoperable electronic fare management.

In Heilbronn, many facets of automatic fare pricing, electronic fare management’s expansion alternative 3 will be presented and discussed in keynote presentations and in a round-table discussion. The Heilbronn Hohenloh Hall Local Transport Authority (HNV) will be reporting about their newly introduced (((eTicket, their strategic goals, and the implementation of interoperability. Furthermore, the agenda also includes eTicketing in Switzerland, the background system for Baden-Württemberg and the changes brought about by eControl. |
